Lanaudière
Revel in nature
Your stay helps preserve and protect this park, but we hope it does wonders for you too. Soak up the quiet strength of the massive trees and breathe in the eternal magic of a good old campfire.
By 2025 Habitat Lanaudière will include a library nestled in the forest, a gathering pavilion, co-working spaces, and 20 pods in addition to the 75 cabins.
Summer
*Canoes, rowboats, and paddleboards are temporarily unavailable.
**We don’t provide fishing rods, so don’t forget to pack your equipment. We recommend reading over our safety and fishing regulations as well as purchasing your fishing licence ahead of time.
Winter

A landscape of possibilities
Gaze at a pond long enough for little creatures to come out of hiding, float on the lake in the summer sun, or lounge in the shade of a tall pine. Take the time to rest, to think about nothing at all, or to chat all afternoon long with a friend. Whatever your level of energy or state of mind, BESIDE Habitat offers something just for you. In addition to all your cabin’s amenities, there are many on-site activities for you to enjoy.

Cooking with fire
On your way in, stop at one of the nearby farms and stock up on local produce and ingredients. A good cabin stay deserves good food: a Dutch baby, grilled cheese, or frittata is even more delicious in good company. You’ll find everything you need in your cabin to discover your inner top chef, whether you’re mastering your art at the kitchen island, in the wood stove, or over campfire embers outdoors.

Dress to de-stress
There’s nothing like a stunning sunset, but nature’s beauty also comes out in stormy skies. As the Scandinavians say, “there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes”: if you dress appropriately, you can have fun whatever the sky might unleash.

Explore the surrounding area
Though it’s just a 75-minute drive from Montréal, Lanaudière remains a lesser-known region. And that’s a shame: it’s well worth taking the time to explore for its quiet winding roads, windswept fields, rivers, and charming diners. Explore the trails by mountain bike or hit the asphalt and road bike through quaint villages. Stroll along Rawdon’s sandy beach or go gaze upon the waterfalls at Parc des chutes Dorwin or Parc des Cascades. Completely forget about time at the stunning spa La Source, work on your golf swing at the Rawdon Golf Resort, or experience the trees from new heights at Arbraska.
Selling your land
