Walking the Land with Catherine Messier
Explore the land on snowshoes or crampons with guide Catherine Messier. Head out into a century-old forest in hibernation and discover its history.
Learn more about BESIDE’s conservation mission during these two hours spent walking the trails, noticing hares in the snow, and drinking tea to warm up from the inside. Bundled up in your coat, step softly into winter. Experience the philosophy of the project, which is based precisely on this precious relationship between human beings and our environment.
Catherine Messier is an ITHQ-certified tourist guide for the City of Montréal. She left the city three years ago to settle on a woodlot in Chertsey, where she continues to discover the wildlife and plant life. One of her passions is to reach the public and spark their curiosity.
