Above all, spend some time in nature and learn more about our conservation mission. The philosophy of the BESIDE Habitat project is based precisely on this precious relationship between human beings and our environment. Immersing yourself in nature for 2 hours will remind you of its grandeur, but also its fragility.

Important information
You’ll have the opportunity to hike to both lakes during the walk. Note that some parts of the trails are steeper, but all will be done at friendly pace.

Catherine Messier is an ITHQ-certified tourist guide for the City of Montréal. She left the city three years ago to settle on a woodlot in Chertsey, where she continues to discover the wildlife and plant life. One of her passions is to reach the public and spark their curiosity.

Please note: this activity is exclusively for guests staying in one of the BESIDE cabins. To take part:

  1. Go to the reservation page.
  2. Choose your cabin.
  3. Select dates for your stay, depending on the date the activity is offered — a minimum of two nights is required.
  4. At checkout, select the activity in question and the number of spots you wish to reserve.
